The Canadian police state continues on full throttle.
Here is a recent scenario.
The Windor, Ont. "police".
Apparently the thugs in uniforms are having a good ole time up there beating on innocent people.
A CBC.ca item ... documents two cases of late. Here is the text of the item:
Police officer's alleged assault caught on video
CBC News Posted: Jun 7, 2012 8:09 AM ET Last Updated: Jun 7, 2012 2:08 PM ET
A veteran Windsor, Ont., police officer has been charged with assault after someone turned in video that appears to show the accused kicking a man.
The video was given first to a media outlet Wednesday and then to the police department's professional standards branch.
In the video, a young black man is seen lying in a stairwell. A man that appears to be a uniformed police officer punches the man once and kicks him twice.
Kent Rice, a 12-year veteran of the force, has been charged and suspended with pay.
The footage came from surveillance video taken at Windsor Residence, a low-income housing apartment building on McDougall Avenue. It was recorded in February, two months after police Acting Chief Al Frederick announced Project Accountability in response to the Det. David Van Buskirk assault case.
Van Buskirk pleaded guilty to assaulting innocent Dr. Tyceer Abouhassan in 2010, after that beating was caught on video.
A volunteer board member at the YMCA facility brought the latest video to police Wednesday morning. Ontario's Special Investigations Unit was notified right away.
"We’re awaiting to hear from the Windsor Police as to the seriousness of the [man’s] injuries," SIU spokesperson Monica Hudon said. "We saw the video. We don’t know whether he was seriously injured, as per legislation."
Frederick says he's disappointed about the latest incident.
"It would be my hope if anything like this does occur [that] the people come forward immediately so it gets the attention it needs," he said.
Windsor Police Association president Jason DeJong said the union has been in contact with Rice.
"But I can’t really comment. There’s an ongoing investigation. It would be improper for me to comment at this time," DeJong said.
Coalition also viewed video
After receiving the video, police also notified members of the local black coalition. Coalition members watched the video and were told of how police are handling the matter.
"I found it very disturbing to see such an act from such a prominent figure within our community," said Rene Taylor, a member of the coalition. "Police officers are the heroes and the protectors in our community, and it really does distress many of us."
The black coalition is urging the victim to come forward. They don't know his identity, but police do, and they've been unable to contact him so far.
It's important for the victim to identify himself so the independent police review director and the SIU can investigate.
Meanwhile the spine of the Canadian gestapo, the RCMP, is looking to "civilianize" itself - is this a process which included the former disgraced commissioner William Elliott, a career civil servant who went on to a job with Interpol, the dubious international police organization which is also now the nest for Giuliano Zaccardelli, Elliott's disgraced predecessor.
Anyway, according to the CBC:
The RCMP is reviewing who does what within its ranks to see if some jobs could be filled by civilians instead of officers.
The police force is looking at whether the right people are in the right positions and if highly trained, gun-toting police officers should be in administrative jobs such as human resources and auditing. The review could result in senior officers going back to the frontline.
CBC's Alison Crawford reported that the review is called "civilianization," and that up to 350 jobs could be on the line.
"The criteria includes, does the position require a badge and a gun to do this?" Chief Supt. Garry Jay said. He's overseeing the process and said affected officers will be given a choice.
"Do they see themselves going back to doing frontline policing or do they see another role for themselves?" he said.
Those who want to continue in their jobs may be asked to retire and reapply for their old jobs as civilians, according to Jay, who admitted his own job may be at risk.
The civilianization process could save as much as $10 million per year and would help the force with recent federal budget cuts. Unlike sworn officers, civil servants don't get moved across the country every few years, they don't require the same level of training and recertification, and some positions are paid far less.
A greater emphasis on the core duty of policing has become a mantra for the RCMP under Commissioner Bob Paulson.
The best thing that could happen is for the uber jackboot RCMP to be demolished. Canada will never be a "civilized" national as long the RCMP is allowed to continue to abuse the population.
Now, as far as I know, under Paulson - who is speeding into the hall of fame of eternal disgrace - nobody in the RCMP has been jailed for the relentless sexual harassment of female "officers", nobody has been jailed for herding off the Indian children to be sexually molested, nobody has been jailed for the murders of Ian Bush or Robert Dziekanski and on and on one could go ad infinitum.
Yes he inherited all this crime ... but he now is responsible for DOING SOMETHING about it. But he is not and he probably won't, otherwise obviously he would not have the bosshog job.
Nothing has been done to "civilize" the RCMP - the biggest criminal gang in Canada and maybe the biggest criminal gang in the entire world, who knows.
In fact so long as this goonsquad continues to exist Canada can never aspire to be a civilized nation. That the population at large refuses to act on that truth speaks for what Canada truly is: a coven of collectivism - tho' maybe now there are signs of resistance.
The RCMP is not a bona fide police organization - this is the crux of the matter. It is an Illuminati paramilitary cult - and it is totally corrupt. Also it has its hands in way too many bailiwicks
