If one wants an indication that the republic of the "United States" has been sold down the proverbial river check the behavior of what passes for a "Supreme Court chief justice".
His name is John Roberts and after making the key vote for Obamacare he flees the country.
The republic is a cartoon republic. It is gone. Roberts and maybe the entire lot of the justices should be sent down the river not to be brought back.
They have failed "America", they have failed humanity - and not just with Obamacare.
There is a lot more at stake for the republic than the fate of the "citizens" of the now faux republic. It was hope for a rule-of-law centric democracy that could lead the western world out of the pits of hell known as fascism - no where more evident than in totalitarian jackboot police-state porn Canada.
The government under Obama, Bush, Clinton ... et al have failed the people. The judiciary has failed the people. Even the people are failing the people at this dire moment in Amerika.
The Americans collectively are becoming as emasculated and impotent as the Canadian male.
What makes the cowardice of the "people" so glaring is that there are so many of them and so few of the command and control tyrannical elite.
In fairness the technological powers being deployed against the people are awesome ... but it is at the point that people have to decide to fight back no matter what. If they let technology, genetic modication and transhumanism take over under the elite agenda ... everybody is liable to be soul DEAD - all the "people" sheeple and all their children too.
It has got to the point now in the United States as in the northern section of the fascist American "fourth reich", Canada, that the sheeplepeople won't even defend their own children against the abuse of the elite and their minions which would include Roberts et al.
They refuse to fight. At least strongly enough and/or in sufficient numbers to bring the fascist monolith down.
At any rate here is much of the text of an item sketching the Roberts getaway.
John Roberts has reached his " impregnable island fortress."
The U.S. Supreme Court's chief justice arrived at the Mediterranean island of Malta on Tuesday, where he will be teaching a class for two weeks.
If anyone desperately needs an island getaway, it's Roberts.
Since casting the key vote to uphold President Barack Obama's health care law, he has been bombarded with fiery criticism from conservative politicians and pundits.
Speculation about why Roberts voted with the liberal side of the court reached a fever pitch on Sunday when CBS reported that Roberts had switched his vote.
Then on Tuesday, a Supreme Court source told Salon that Roberts actually wrote much of the dissent, as well as the majority opinion.
Confusion reigns!
