Supporting St Clement's Church

Thank you for looking at this page and for considering how to support St Clements. We are very grateful for all the help and supoprt many people give us in so many different ways. Here you will find some options concerning financial support. Like many small charities, the lockdown and coronovirus has been and extemely challenging time.

Some of the ideas below suggest ways of making donations and gifts to St Clements. Others are about making small changes to our online shopping practices and cost us nothing at all.

Thank you,

Revd Ken Flood (Rector)

You can make a donation via our JustGiving page

If you would like to undertake a special fundraising event for St Clement's, you can also launch you own campaign.

Easyfundraising

St Clements is now registered with easyfundraising, which means you can help us for free. Over 4,000 shops and sites will donate to us when you use easyfundraising to shop with them – at no extra cost to yourself!

All you need to do is sign up and remember to use easyfundraising whenever you shop online. These donations really mount up, so please sign up to support us at https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stclementschurchchorlton

Once you've registered, you can add an extension to Google Chrome which reminds you to donate whenever you're online shopping. Don't worry, Easyfundraising will guide you through the process.

Amazon Smile

If you shop on amazon, you can go instead to smile.amazon.co.uk. It is exactly the same as the regular amazon website but we receive a small percentage of your purchases if you select us as your chosen charity. We had to register under our formal charity name which is "The Parochial Church Council for the ecclesiastical parish of St Clement's, Chorlton. You need to change the charity you are support by clicking on the circled area in the image below and choosing our charity (beware the dreaded typos crept into the name as I was quickly experiementing how to register and somehow they got stuck!)

Standing Orders

If you are uncomfortable with making online donations, please contact us and we will send you a good, old-fashioned paper form!
