St Clement's Talent Auction

This year, to raise money for Christian Aid, we are holding a Talent Auction! The auction will run from Friday 16th May until Friday 30th May, so get your bids in quick!

How does it work? Below are the goods and services available to bid on, ranging from jars of marmalade to a trip to the RHS Bridgewater! Please take a look through and use the form to place any bids, and make sure to leave your correct contact details.

What happens after the auction ends? All bids are secret, and the highest bidders will be contacted in the week after the auctions ends, where you will be will be informed if your bid won and given contact details of the person making the offer, and vice versa. For example, if you are bidding on Phil's offer of a delicious dinner, after the auction you will be put in contact with each other to schedule a time that works for you. You can then make your donation for the bid amount via our Christian Aid page.

Dogwalking

Emma Louise will take your dog for a walk,

Guitar Lesson

Ken will give you a lesson in the basics of guitar playing

Hedgecutting

Pete will cut your garden hedge or another troublesome shrubbery.

Help Around The House

Jo will spend three hours helping out with a project, for example cleaning, gardening, or painting fences.

Portugese Lesson

Fi can give you a lesson in Portugese.

Reading

Estelle will read your favourite book extract or poetry to you for 30 minutes (or have a companionable chat!)

Sewing

Ann will help with any sewing and repairs; eg. turning up trousers, making children’s clothes

Trishaw Ride

Ursula will provide a trishaw taxi service for 3 hours during the weekend of Chorlton Open Gardens (Sat 28th & 29th June)

Trip to RHS Bridgewater

Laurie or Jane will take you on a trip to RHS Bridgewater (transport and admission included)

Up to 6 tickets for Queens of Pop at the RNCM on Sunday 15th June, 2-4pm

RNCM Concert

Up to 6 tickets for the Young Explorers Myths, Stories & Legends Concert at the RNCM on Sunday 12th October

RNCM Concert

Up to 6 tickets for The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (film with live orchestra) at the RNCM on Sunday 14th December
