The annual bank holiday Fun Run returns for another day of community cardio!
The run is open to anybody - whether you prefer to challenge yourself by running against the clock, or if you'd prefer a leisurely walk with friends, all are welcome to participate in this community event!
For those who'd prefer a challenge, there will be a 6km run from St Clement’s Church down through the nature reserve, along the River Mersey and back. There will also be a more relaxed 1.5km route suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.
Back at St Clement's, there will be a pop up café in the youth centre where you can purchase drinks and snacks, and relax before or after the run.
This year's bank holiday Fun Run will take place on Monday 5th May 2025.
Register for the Fun Run here!
There is a discount for registering in advance, sales of which will end on Friday 2nd May. However, if you'd prefer, you can also sign up on the day. Registration will be from 9.30am on the day, with the run starting at 10.30am.
Those who have bought advance registration will be able to collect their runner numbers from 9.30am on the day of the event.
We also need volunteers to help direct runners along the route. If you'd like to help out with the Fun Run, please contact us at k.flood@stclement-chorlton.org.uk.
