Triduum to St Martin de Porres

A special Relic of the Dominican Saint Martin de Porres is being brought from Lima, Peru on a visit to the Dominican Churches in Ireland during the month of November. 

The relic will be present here during our Annual St Martin Triduum which takes place this year from Friday 10th till Sunday 12th November. 

Pilgrimage to Knock

The Dominican Pilgrimage to Knock will take place this year on Sunday 8th October. 
Cost is €40 per person which includes an evening meal on the return journey. 
A deposit of €10 is required to secure a place and bookings can be made at the Parish Office.

Communion to the Sick

The parish team (Priests & Lay-ministers) are willing to bring Holy Communion to the sick & house-bound of the parish on the 1st Friday of each month. 

If you know of anyone who would like to avail of this service please let us know

World Meeting of Families

In preparation for the World Meeting of Families in Dublin, (August 2018) with Pope Francis, the Dublin diocese is holding an Information Night. The meeting will be in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel on this Monday 26th June at 7.30pm.

Tallafest 2017

Mozart's Requiem

The Tallaght Choral Society are celebrating 50 years of singing with a performance of Mozart’s “Requiem” on Sat next 10th June at 8.00 p.m. in the National Concert Hall.  Full details are on the poster on the Notice Board at the back of the church.  

Corpus Christi

Our annual Corpus Christi Procession this year will take place on this Sunday May 27th in the Priory grounds at 3pm.  

St Aengus Parishioners are invited to assemble here at the Church at 2.15pm and journey up together in Procession to the Priory.  

A special invitation is extended to all school-going children & their families & especially to this years’s 1st Communion boys & girls.

Confirmation 2017

The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place here on Thursday next, 1st June, at 11am.

We welcome Bishop Eamonn Walsh who will be coming to administer the Sacrament to 63 young people from our parish schools.

There will be no 10am Mass on that day. 

First Holy Communion 2017

Sunday, 7th May, is a First Communion Sunday.  
The children  from Scoil Iosa will join us to make their 1st Holy Communion as part of next Sunday’s 10.30am Mass. 
Children from Scoil Aengusa will make their 1st Communion on Sunday 14th  May at the 12.30 Mass. (Please note that the 12 Mass on the 14th May will start a half-hour later at 12.30pm).

Now and Then Production 2017 "Messiah"

“Messiah” is the title of a new musical composed by Gavin Byrne. 
It will be presented in the Priory by the Now & Then production company from Tues to Friday next week 4th-7th April at 8pm.
