21st Sunday of the Year CHURCH NOTICES                   Sunday 23rd August 2026

1. Our Monday evening devotions continue as usual with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm. This is followed at 7pm by Rosary, Novena Prayers of the Miraculous Medal and Benediction.

2. The Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from Thurs 3rd of Sept until Tuesday the 8th and will be led by Archbishop Dermot Farrell.  Full details can be found on the poster at the back of the Church.   

3. Thursday next is the feast of St Monica   & Friday next  is the feast of her son, St Augustine.            Mass at 10am on each day. 

4. And now for some good news!! All parish schools will reopen on Thurs  next, the 27th August at the usual opening times. We wish all well in the new school year.

5. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank.  We appeal to every family in the Parish to lend their support to this most important collection.   If you follow our Mass on the webcam we appeal to your generosity to consider making a donation by using the Donate Button on the St Aengus Parish website.
