23rd Sunday of the Year CHURCH NOTICES Sunday 6th September 2026
1. This Sunday we unite in prayer with the Archbishiop of Dublin, Dermot Farrell and all the pilgrims in Lourdes at present on the Dublin Diocesan pilgrimage. As recommended we are offering the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at the end of all Masses today for those who would like to receive it.
2. Our Monday evening devotions continue as usual with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm. This is followed at 7pm by Rosary, Novena Prayers of the Miraculous Medal and Benediction.
3. Our Dominican pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday the 11th of Oct this year. The St Aengus Bus will leave at 8.30am sharp and arrive in Knock at 12.30pm. Cost per seat is €45 per person which includes refreshments on the way down & sandwiches/tea/coffee on the way back.
Early booking is advised.
4. The ICA Tallaght Guild is back from their summer break, and will re-open on the 10th September. If you are interested in joining our group, we would be delighted to welcome you and fill you in on all our activities. We meet in St. Aengus Community Centre on Thursdays evenings at 8.00pm
5. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank. We appeal to every family in the Parish to lend their support to this most important collection.
