1st Sunday of Lent CHURCH NOTICES Sunday 22nd February 2026
Our Monday evening devotions continue with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm. This is followed at 7pm by Rosary, Novena Prayers and Benediction.
2. St. Mary’s Parish is offering 5 Tuesday evenings of Lenten Reflection starting on next Tues February 24th at 7.30pm up in St Mary’s Priory Church. The speaker on Tuesday next is Fr. Stephen Cummins OP, Prior of St. Mary’s. Further information available on the Notice Board at the back of the Church.
3. “Golden Age at Glenview Lodge” is the name of the new evening service in the recently refurbished South Dublin County Council property, Glenview Lodge which will be open from 4pm – 9pm Monday to Friday with services delivered between 4.30pm-8.30pm each evening. This is a service for people aged 65+ and transportation will be provided for people that require assistance. Contact Trustus in the village for more information.
4. Family Trocaire boxes for the Lenten Campaign are available at the back of the Church. We invite each family to take one home, and also to take take one for a neighbour or friend who cannot get to Church.
5. A series of Retreats are taking place in the Dominican Retreat Centre including a Lectio Divina retreat with Fr Joe Ralph OP on Sunday next the 1st of March. More information on the posters at the back of the Church.
6. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank. We appeal to every family in the Parish to lend their support to this most important collection.
