4th Sunday of the Year - St Brigids Day CHURCH NOTICES Sunday 1st February 2026
1. This Monday is a Bank Holiday and Mass will be at 11am. There are no evening devotions.
Monday is also the feast of the Presentation of the Lord and candles will be blessed at the 11am Mass.
2. Tuesday is the feast of St Blaise, bishop & martyr. Mass on Tuesday will include the traditional blessing of the throats.
3. Next Friday is the first Friday of the month. There will be an extra mass at 7pm in honour of St. Padre Pio followed by a blessing with the relic.
4. A “Golden Age” Evening Service is opening on Tuesday next, the 3rd Feb in Glenview Lodge from 4-9pm – Mon. – Fri. Referrals are welcome and can be sourced through Trustus Senior Care at 01-468 5500 or @trustus.ie email info
5. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank. We appeal to every family in the Parish to lend their support to this most important collection.
