2nd Sunday of Lent CHURCH NOTICES                   Sunday 16th March 2025

1. Monday is the feast day of our National Apostle, St. Patrick.  Masses times will be the same as on Sunday – 10am and 12noon. Masses from Tuesday – Friday will be at the normal time of 10am.  There will be no evening devotions on the Bank holiday.

2. Wednesday next is the Feast of St. Joseph and is a day of special devotion.  Mass at 10am

3. Family Trocaire boxes for the Lenten Campaign are available at the back of the Church.  We invite each family to take one home if they have not as yet received one.

4. There is a series of  Lenten Talks taking place in St. Dominics Church on Weds during Lent.  The speaker on next Weds is Bro. Richard Hendrix, Capuchin Friar in Church Street.    These talks will be of great benefit to Confirmation families.  All are welcome.

5. There are some retreats taking place in the Dominican Retreat Centre in the lead up to Easter.  Full details can be found on the poster at the back of the Church.

6. The Church Gate Collection is for the Church Refurbishment.  We would ask you to show your usual generosity.

7. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank.  We appeal to every family to lend their support to this most important collection.   If you do not already have a box of envelopes, there are some available at the back of the Church.  If you follow our Mass on the webcam we appeal to your generosity to consider making a donation by using the Donate Button on the St Aengus Parish website.   Thank you.
