33rd Sunday of the Year CHURCH NOTICES Sunday 16th November 2025
1. Our Monday evening devotions continue as usual with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm. This is followed at 7pm by Rosary, Novena Prayers and Benediction.
2. A series of workshops entitled the Mustard Seed or “Getting to know the Bible,” continues here in St. Aengus Church on Thurs 20th of Nov. at 7.30pm. The good thing is that it’s for everyone & you don’t even have to know anything about the Bible. There is a poster at the back of the Church, and we encourage you to give it a try. All you need to bring is a bible.
3. A Mass for deceased members of the St Aengus Summer Project team will take place on Sunday next 23rd November at 12noon. It would be lovely to see as many people as possible attend, including young people who took park and have such wonderful memories of that time.
4. Advance Notice that a special Mass of Thanksgiving will be offered here on Sunday the 14th December by Archbishop Dermot Farrell to mark 50 years of St Aengus Church. All are invited.
5. We encourage all parents of Primary School going children to respond to the questionnaire from the Department of Education asking them for their preference of future models of primary education. Either multi-denominational or what we have now which is denominational under the Archbishop as Patron. Our local schools can provide you with all the information that you need.
6. The Church Gate Collection is for the Church Refurbishment. We ask you to show your usual generosity.
7. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank. We appeal to every family to lend their support. If you do not already have a box of envelopes, there are some available at the back of the Church. If you follow our Mass on the webcam we appeal to your generosity to consider making a donation by using the Donate Button on the St Aengus Parish website. Thank you.
