Feral Grey Tabby August 1, 2015

Beautiful male grey tabby that appeared the first of summer. Although he was very skittish, we felt he was a drop off as he looked to be in good shape. He however did start fighting with and terrorizing all the other cats in the area. He was trapped July 29 th, and vetted July 30 th, ( thankfully he was negative for disease or we would have had quite a problem on our hands with all the fighting he's done). After being trapped and vetted it became quite obvious he was a feral cat so he was released today, August 1st. Hopefully the fighting and spraying will be reduced and he'll be able to co-habitate with the other ferals in the area.

Oct.1/15 This boy's fighting with all the other cats in the area has been curbed immensely from his neutering. He shows up 1-2 times a day for food, but other then that, is generally not seen. A feeding station has been set up for him, and an insulated shelter will be set up in the near future.

July 2016 update: This boy has survived his first winter since his vetting with the help of an insulated shelter and being fed by my parents. He's shown no signs of becoming any friendlier to people. His fighting with other cats has been curbed greatly by his neutering, although he is still known to occasionally start a fight with other cats. He's beautiful but a bit of a bully.

September 2017 updates: doing wonderful, looks amazing and all his fighting history has finally ended having been neutered and having food source and shelter. He's actually become a submissive boy with the other ferals and best friends with Hobo, a boy he constantly used to beat up. Just amazing the difference from vetting and neutering. Thank you to my parents for caring for This feral boy.

Oct. 2019 update: this boy remains to do well as a feral cat being fed and with a shelter. My mom can actually pat him now and then. He's a good boy who causes no issues in the managed colony my parents care for.
