Purpose: Enables quick calculation of a serial or parallel resistor network.

Specifications:

1. Windows 32-bit application (can use MFC).

2. Yield immediate result upon entry of resistor values.

3. Include an advanced function which switches in all combinations of the given resistors.

Overview

rescalc is a Windows95 compatible program developed using MS Visual C++ 6.0 Standard/Learning Edition. Its main function is to quickly calculate the total resistance in a series or parallel resistor network.

rescalc includes three advanced functions. The first advanced function simulates a parallel network where each resistor can be switched into or out-of the network. The second advanced function calculates the voltage and current of each resistor when given the total current (I) entering the network. The third advanced function calculates the voltage and current of each resistor when given the voltage across the network.
