Location

Sokobanya valley is situated in the central part of eastern Serbia. With its towering mountains on the south side Ozren (1117m) and on the north side Rtan (1565m). In the West there is the valley of river Morava and in the east of river Timok. Throughout its length Sokobanya valley extends from east to west 15 km. Because of its position, in this area the Carpathian and European air flows are colliding, which produces a large number of anions.
