We were happy to host a field sampling visit by folks from the New England Insterstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) and the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program (NBEP) in early August. Our visitors included Mike Jennings, Sr. Program Manager, and Heather Radcliffe, Program Manager and Staff Attorney, both at NEIWPCC, and Tom Borden, Program Director at Narragansett Bay Estuary Program. They joined George Loomis, Ed Avizinis and Kevin Hoyt for an afternoon of sampling and field analysis of wastewater from advanced nitrogen removal systems in Jamestown, RI. NEIWPCC administers one of our projects, "Reducing Nitrogen Inputs to Narragansett Bay: Optimizing the Performance of Existing Onsite Wastewater Treatment Technologies."
