2015 Call for Submissions

Ideas the Bees are buzzing about are having it in TWO cities this year.  Santa Barbara and Pasadena - to keep the flow between cities vibrant and alive. 

Not having a ten minute time limit, if you want to show more work, then you pay a larger part of the deposit.

As with last years HIVE, we draft a streamline budget and divide the cost of producing amongst all artists.  Each artist pays a NON-REFUNDABLE INVESTMENT to the HIVE with a chance to earn back.  In that we are going the root of studio showings the cost of production will be much cheaper, but the revenues earned from showings are a bit less.  You will earn back on ALL TICKET sales only IF you carry about your agreed upon task. All bees earn equally independent of effort.  Last year we produced at CST and earned our deposit back PLUS a bit more.  Each artist in addition to their tasks is required to post one flyer, promote the event via social networking, and send an announcement out about the event to their email list as well as promote pre-sales for tickets through a fundly campaign.
