There was no problem coring juniper, but the oak in Arizona was very hard and 12-mm
borer got broken. I have had a similar experience when coring tropical wood in Thailand.
We are already developing optional parts for coring such very hard hardwood to prevent
breaking increment borers. If you are interested these optional parts, please contact me.
