Willandra

The History of Willandra is outlined in Historic Ryde (a publication of RDHS). The images below have been taken from St Anne's Church and show the Small family farm buildings.

The sketch by Henry Curzon Allport in 1841 shows a 2 storey building and a long single storey building. Willandra had not been built at this stage.  Sketch is taken from Pictorial History of Ryde by Megan Martin

The photograph was taken from the St Anne's Tower in 1910 and shows the 2 storey building in the Allport sketch with Willandra to the right. Photograph is from the collection of Ryde District Historical Society.
