Guy Ritter - Time Line

1985?

Holy Danger becomes a band with Chuck Pepper (aka Guy Ritter) Dee Harrington (who was in Saint at the time,and later on went back to Saint)) Avery G. Kramer and Darby Budd. Gary Lenaire also assists with the music!They 'release' some demo songs including "I Wanna Rock" and "The Code Word Is Go". They also release other songs and other demo's.  Here's what christianmoltenmetalbands says about them...
Holy Danger is a Heavy Metal band from Eugene, Oregon that saw its conception back in 1985 by founding members Guy Ritter & Gary Lenaire. Holy Danger is one of the first real christian Metal bands to come out of the 1980's Hard Rock/Metal scene.  At an
early age, Guy Ritter was exposed to various christian Rock bands like Keith Green, Rez Band, Petra, Daniel Band, and Servant which made a big impact on his life. Ritter began seeing how one could use a powerful medium like Rock or Metal music to reach others for Christ. At the time, Guy Ritter was only 19 years old when he decided to form the band Holy Danger. The first to come on board was long time friend & guitarist-Gary Lenaire. Due to providence, Ritter had previously had the privilege of meeting guitarist-Dee Harrington at a 'Saint' concert. It wasn't long before Harrington became unhappy playing for Saint and decided to leave the band. He then contacted Guy Ritter who happily welcomed him into the band. Ritter then got in touch with bassist-Avery Kramer and drummer-Darbey Budd who both promptly came on board to complete this Oregon based band.  Duringthe 80's it was common for band members to use stage names and Guy Ritterwasn't going to be an exception to the rule, so he proudly chose the alias "Chuck Pepper". This "covert operation" lasted until confused fans began confronting Ritter and asking why he thought Chuck Pepper was better than his real name which sounded much cooler.   In 1985, not long after the band's conception, Holy Danger released an independent 2-track 7" vinyl record which includes tracks "I Wanna Rock" and "The Code Word Is Go". Just one year later, in 1986, Holy Danger stepped back into the studio to begin work on their independent full-length13-track cassette demo recording titled 'Holy Danger!!!!'. This release is often called the "Battle Demo" due to one side of the cassette being titled 'Battle #1' and the other side being titled 'Battle #2'. This was a Hard Rock demo album that is rare and hard to find with the recording suffering from poor production.
1986

Holy Danger release an 8 song album entitled "One Way".
Songs are:
Rock For Your Maker;
One Way;
Breakin' Out;
Power Anthem;
Runaway;
Don't Slaughter Your Daughter;
Stranger;
Where Would I Be Without You.

1986 - 1989

From Gary...
We did some demo recordings in Eugene, Oregon and in 1986 I left the project to go to Bible college. Guy moved to California. In 1987, Guy drove from Los Angeles to Oregon and asked if I would discuss moving to LA. We went to the Oregon coast and discussed the ministry. That would come to be known as the Astoria Summit. That weekend I decided to relocate to LA and form Tourniquet with Guy. We spent the next three years tirelessly writing and recording in preparation for the Stop The Bleeding record. We’re not done.
1990
Guy, Gary and Ted Kirkpatrick become "Tourniquet" and release the brilliant "Stop The Bleeding" through Intense records. When they first started playing they still used the name Holy Danger, but decided to changeit either to Tourniquet or Testify.
Tourniquet was what they went for.
1991

"Psycho Surgery" is released, as a follow up to "Stop The Bleeding" and wins fans all over the world!

1992

After the recording of the third Tourniquet album "Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance" Guy decides to leave the band.
One of the possible reasons being that the sound of Tourniquet was going heavier and heavier, and Guy wasn't so keen on the thrash kind of style.
1993
On the Echo Hollow website it states that Guy leaves Tourniquet in December 1993....
