29th December 2022 - Covid and other issues has slowed the completion of the new album, but they have just released a really top notch christmas song, called It's Christmas Time.

Brilliant debut album from Stairway. Bags of class and pure classic british metal through and through. Incredible artwork by the one and only Rodney Matthews. This is the 30th anniversary edition, and has lots of extra tracks, including my favourite - Anybody There? from White Metal Warriors. So this basically makes it an incredible album!

So, this is a short album (EP) of some of their demo songs from way back when. I thought it was going to be just something to add to the collection, but boy, was I wrong. Really good stuff here, and well worth the money. Some of these songs are pure gold.

This album (for me) was a clear step up from the last two, and both of those were great. Love Fear and Lies, The Suffering Servant and In The Shadow Of The Cross. Got to give a nod to Rodney Matthews for yet another incredible piece of artwork, probably my favourite Stairway album cover. Sad to see that Rob is no longer in Stairway.
