Making block tofu with only 3 cup of soybeans
Ingredients: 3 cups of soy milk and 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar.
Tools: cheesecloth, colander or a bamboo steamer, large bowl, medium pot, and metal spoon.
Tips: you don't have to press, just leave the block tofu there for 10 minutes

Making block tofu with 9 cups of soybeans
Ingredients: 9 cups of soy milk and 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar.To save money, you could use 3 cups of soybeans to make the soy milk for better texture.
Tools: the same, but use bigger pot and a draining spoon to scoop out the bean curd. If the whey is still milky, adds another spoon or two of apple cider vinegar.
Tips: remember to press the tofu, if you don't press, the tofu might be very soft and it creates different texture. Right after you remove the tofu from the cheesecloth. Immediately soak its in water to prevent the bean curd to stick to the cheesecloth.
