To keep you organized and in touch, this apartment features a laptop computer with Microsoft Office installed ... the laptop is already connected to the wireless internet, as well as to the apartment's wireless printer / copier / scanner. Imagine how convenient it will be to print maps, tickets to shows, restaurant reservations, airline boarding passes, and more, from the convenience of the guest apartment. Of course the free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available for you to connect your own laptop, iPad, or smart phone, too.

A land line phone is provided, with an answering machine and free local calls. This is a great boon for international travelers, as international cell plans often don't work in the States. Making long-distance calls is easy .... buy a phone card from a nearby drug store and away you go. We'll give you the phone number before your arrival.

The flat-screen HDTV comes with a DVD player and basic cable TV channels. We have a DVD library with classic San Francisco movies like Harold and Maude, the Joy Luck Club, Flower Drum Song, Dirty Harry, San Francisco (starring Clark Gable and Jeanette MacDonald), Bullitt, and Milk. The DVD library features a variety of American blockbuster movies, international selections and DVDs for children, too.

The apartment also offers plenty of closet space, including a chest of drawers, wooden hangers, dress hangers, shoe storage, everything you need to settle in and feel right at home. Fashionistas, rest assured, you'll have plenty of space for your clothes and shoes!

The Kitchen offers a Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Programmable Coffee Maker, Spice Rack, Pepper and Salt Mills, and more. You'll even find ziplock bags made with biodegradable plastic, cupcake liners made from unbleached paper ... we really do our best to keep the apartment green and eco-friendly, while providing all the little conveniences you would expect in your own home. Many people say the kitchen is their favorite part of the guest apartment.

The bathroom is spacious by San Francisco standards and features a full tub with shower. It is fully stocked as well, with Organic Bath Robes & Towels, Ionic Hair Dryer, and All Natural Products. We provide lavender or almond castile soap for shampoo, Tate's the Natural Miracle conditioner, Beauty Without Cruelty lotion, organic cotton Q-tips, aspirin, Advil, band-aids, a first-aid kit, and a lot more. There's even an alarm clock and radio in the bathroom so you can listen to the news or music while getting ready.

You'll love having your own Laundry Room with full-sized washer, dryer, ironing board and iron, drying racks, and eco-friendly supplies. We buy the laundry soap in bulk ... it is ECOS Free & Clear Laundry Liquid, which is concentrated so you only need at tiny amount in the washer. It is completely fragrance free, plant-based, biodegradable, and chemical free.
