Dual Generator Failure (both engines operative)

  • BUS TIE switch ................................................... split
  • L GEN switch........................................................."RESET", then "ON"
  • R GEN switch........................................................."RESET", then "ON"

CABIN PRESS light on CWP illuminated

  • Cabin altitude & differential pressure...................Check

If the CABIN ALT is above 10,000 ft then:

  • Oxygen masks and regulators..................................ON 100%
  • Communications .....................................................Establish

Cabin/Cockpit Smoke/Fire

  • Oxygen Masks & Regulators....................................ON 100%
  • Smoke goggle ........................................................ON
  • Communications ....................................................Establish

Jammed Aileron System

  • Autopilot................................................................disconnect
  • Interconnect unit.....................................................overpower
  • Roll disconnect handle............................................pull

Jammed Elevator System

  • Autopilot................................................................disconnect
  • Interconnect unit.....................................................overpower
  • Pitchl disconnect handle..........................................pull

HYDR light on CWP illuminated

  • HYDR PUMP switch................................................off
  • EMER and MAIN accumulator pressure......................check

If EMER and MAIN pressure are both low (<2,000 psi) then:

  • Flaps.......................................................................do not change position
  • Airspeed...................................................................reduce to 200 knots or less
  • Landing gear handle...................................................down

Hydraulic Fluid Loss

  • HYD Pump Switch........................................................off

Brake Failure at low speed

  • HYD Pump switch.........................................................override
  • Anti-Skid switch...........................................................off

Engine Oil Pressure Low

  • ENG OIL and PROP OIL pressure.................................check

If ENG OIL PRESS CWP light is on and ENG OIL pressure indicates < 30 p.s.i. then:

  • Engine Failure / Engine Fire / Shutdown procedure........................apply

Engine Failure / Engine Fire / Shutdown

  • Engine failure , fire, shutdown.....................................confirm
  • Power Lever (affected engine side).............................retard
  • Condition Lever (affected engine side)........................ fuel off

If the propeller has not featherd then:

  • Autocoarsen switch...................................................off
  • Propeller pump (affected engine side)......................manual feather

If there is any indication of an engine fire then:

  • Fire Handle .............................................................pull
  • Fire Extinguisher switch ...........................................on

If fire indication after 30 seconds then:

  • Fire Extinguisher switch (opposite side)......................on

Dual Engine Flameout

  • Power Levers (both).........................................................flight idle
  • Condition levers (both) ....................................................fuel off
  • Airspeed.........................................................................130 KIAS
  • BAT switch (both).............................................................override
  • FUEL STBY PUMP switches (both)....................................override
  • Autocoarsen.....................................................................off
  • L condition lever................................................................start
  • Start switch......................................................................left

If the left engine restarts then:

  • L conditoin lever.................................................................max
  • L power lever advance.........................................................advance

TAIL PIPE HOT light on CWP illuminated

  • Power lever (affected engine)..................................................retard

Compressor Stall

  • CTOT.................................................................................off

Turn CTOT knob slowly counterclockwise, then select CTOT off

  • Power lever (affected engine) ..............................................retard
