SERPM 8 utilizes the Cube Catalog Scenario Manager to organize scenario configurations. Each scenario should be defined in the scenario manager.
The Scenario Manager is organized so that the most common keys are presented on the first few pages (e.g. highway network, SE data) and keys that would change less often are stored on the later pages.
No key should be modified without a complete understanding of the impacts, all the more so for keys on the later pages.
Scenario manager facilitates organizing scenarios with inherited attributes. The sub-scenarios, or "child" scenarios are generated with all the same attributes as the "parent" scenario. Scenarios in SERPM 8 are organized at the top level in the scenario manager by the model year. Therefore, 2015 or 2045 model year scenarios should be created as children of the Base2015 or Forecast2045 scenarios respectively. A scenario with a different model year (e.g. 2035) should be created as a child of a the top level "Scenarios" directory.
Note: The top-level "Scenarios" should not be modified or run directly.
Scenario parameters are shown by double-clicking the scenario name from the scenario manager tree. This opens a series of screens with scenario key values. Note that the key values are set by default to the parent scenario values. Scenarios created under the top-level folder will use the catalog default values for the scenario key values. Keys that do not have a default value will appear blank in the scenario manager.

Note: all scenario keys must have a value to run the scenario.
The scenario structure is saved to the catalog file. In order to record your changes, you must save the catalog file (click Save -> Catalog from the File menu).
Note: If the RUN button is not shown, first ensure that all scenario keys are populated, then save the catalog and close and re-open Cube.
SERPM 8 can be run to produce a report that will compare the model results to either:
When Summarize Results is selected, the path and details of the other scenario must be entered. There are two levels of description that can be entered that will be presented in the excel report file. Finally, the sampling rate of the comparison scenario must be entered to appropriate scale those results in the comparisons.
