Student Learning Objectives for this Course:
This course introduces students to basic web site design elements by introducing them to programming languages like XTML, JavaScript, Dynamic HTML, and Document Object Model— developing the complex and critical thinking skills to develop and maintain web pages. This course may also cover security and privacy issues, copyright infringement, trademarks, and other legal issues relating to the use of the Internet. Advanced topics may include the use of forms and scripts for database access, transfer methods, and networking fundamentals as well as emerging technologies related to mobile applications.
