It is said that we live on the “water planet”, with the world ocean covering over 70% of the surface of Earth and increasing due to climate changing. As you will learn, the ocean has a profound affect on our lives, whether we live near or far from its shores it still has an affect on us. Marine Biology is an integrated study aimed at understanding the marine organisms and the environment they live in. All aspects of ocean science will be investigated, using hands-on labs, analysis of data and investigative research.
