Daniel Llewellyn, Steve Wales and Tim White sat down one year and created a document that describes all our experiences in running Role Playing at conventions, and I wanted to write this article to bring people's attention to it.
Running Role Playing events at a convention is a learning experience, and the authors of this document wanted to try and jump-start the learning process of new coordinators.
The manual talks about everything from what to do when, as far out as a year before the convention, how to get judges, how to schedule your events, and so forth.
It's a very useful read for anyone who is thinking about running Role Playing events at a convention - it makes clear just how much work it is!
If you have feedback on the doc, you can post it in response to this article.
You can find a PDF of it in our file galleries: RPG Coordinators Manual
