Tacticon 2011 Post-Con Report:
RP Artisans had another successful run! This time, we were at Tacticon 2011.
I think it's safe to say that this year was the best Tacticon yet. DGA is getting better and better at this (and the hotel really stepped up this year to make us feel welcome). Can't wait to see how Genghis goes!
As for the RP Artisans, a few of our celebrated GMs couldn't make it this year due to other commitments (we missed you, Rich, Alyson, and Michelle!), but we still managed to pull off some mighty fine games:
Scott Field ran five games: Champions (The Mile High Club), Star Hero (Tau Draconis), Pulp Hero (Pulp Friends), and Fantasy Hero (Flying Ninja Pirates), and Pulp-Star Hero (Ace Cobalt)!
Troy Latta ran one table of Munchkin. Turns out Wookiee barbarians are GREAT at finding traps!
Bill Keyes ran four games: Two each of Lucha Libre Hero (The Daughter of Frankenstein) and Steampunk Hero (The First Men on the Moon).
We had a lot of full tables, and a total of 55 players for all of our games!
Shameless plug time: Tacticon 2011 also marked the local launch of Bill's new game book "The Widening Gyre," a steampunk sourcebook for the Hero System. Featuring Victorian mad science and gothic monsters from another era, it's available in PDF from DriveThruRPG.com and Herogames.com (and although the initial run of hardcopies is sold out, there may be a few more floating around in the distribution channels -- ask your friendly local gaming store if they can order one)!
Congratulations to the Waterdeep Boys Club, Winners of the 2011 Team Roleplaying Challenge!
