Welcome to our recipe book!
The goal is to collectively add to this over the years. We are all to share our recipes, stories and photography skills as they evolve. May we please many with our culinary skills and family gatherings for years to come.
We encourage others to use this site and share comments about what you have tried and what you have modified, and what fun you had while entertaining using one of the recipes shared here. Email Marji any comments or photographs to be included.
We also need to state that many of these recipes are not original to us. We have just collected them and they have become family favorites. If we remember or know their origin, we give credit. If you recognize one, let us know and we will give you credit.
History of this Collection:
Back in 2005, all of the classic family recipes were compiled into a loose-leaf computerized cookbook by Marji. She printed up three copies keeping one for herself and surprising daughters Amy and Karen with their copies on Christmas morning. These cookbooks became well-loved and much-used family treasures.
In 2007 Amy and Karen together printed an addendum, and again in 2008. But technology has changed and we all knew we want the cookbook online instead of in hard copy. How else could we share comments and photographs, modify and most importantly, have our recipes with us while shopping! This is the next generation of Roy Family Recipes compiled again by Marji but this time online so we can share it with all that enjoy dining at our tables. x
