Beloved of the Most High, we are encouraged to be productive in the kingdom of God. Part of the productivity that is expected of us is that we bear fruit. Being fruitful means that as Christians, we are having a positive impact on the people and places around us to the glory of God. People can see Jesus Christ's example in our lives and the work of the Holy Spirit is evident. The work of the Holy Spirit should be showing in our lives daily. People who don't know Christ should have more hope and should be drawn to Christ by our example. Born-again Christians should have more faith, should be more prayerful and should be able to walk more like Christ in their everyday lives. The Fruit of the Spirit, which are love, joy peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self- control (Galatians 5:22-23), should be evident in our lives in some degree.
Here is a short message that I recorded on my daily commute that speaks to our need to be fruitful. More to come!
