Looking to the LORD for Guidance in this Difficult Season

In this season of uncertainty and chaos, it is important for us as Christians to not look to the world for guidance. That does not mean that we stop paying attention to what's going on. It also doesn't mean that we ignore the news or official information. What is does mean is that we don't accept the world's worry, anxiety and its sense of dread. As followers of Jesus Christ, worshipers of the Most High God, we know that although we live in troublesome times, He has overcome the world (John 16:33). We have to remember that Jesus Christ gave us "power, love and a sound mind" in the place of our fear (II Timothy 1:7). He is our Rock, Comforter, and our Peace. This is the time to exercise our faith and to lean even more on His everlasting arms. Trust the LORD God and He shall be our refuge. God is in control!
