A message from the Chairman and Committee
On behalf of Roch Valley District Association (RVDA), part of the Camping and Caravanning Club (C&CC), welcome everyone to our website.
As part of the Camping and Caravanning Club, RVDA are a group of campers comprising of families, couples and individuals of all ages dedicated to caravanning, camping, socialising and meeting with friends of other DA'S who enjoy the great outdoors.
DA meets, like ours, are an affordable form of camping, as we camp most weekends throughout the Spring/Summer and Autumn months, and even in winter, with social events in Club rooms and Halls.
Every weekend we camp, we aim to create an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere and I can assure everyone of a warm welcome on the field to any member joining our meet.
We have our own 'shelters' which are brought to our THS's, Bank Holiday meets etc, where we enjoy social functions in the evenings, such as games, music and quizzes.
We also regularly camp on defined farm rally fields, rally sites attached to official campsites or maybe sited adjacent to a village hall for an evening social ‘get together’, especially in the winter months.
We attempt to cater for members near and far, Lancashire, Cheshire etc. Our meets cover a variety of activities including family walks, visits to local places of interest, sports, fun & games on the field and, of course and entertainment and social gatherings in the evenings.
