Work sold

This week I sold a print of this view of the façade of one of the newer buildings at MIT. This image is typical of the sorts of things that catch my eye: pattern and color.

The woman who bought the print was attracted to the play of blues and greens. I think the first thing I see when I look at this image is the pattern of the window frames. Second would be the color overlay of the reflected building, and finally the line of crossing windows from the reflection.

In more concrete terms, it sold for about three days' lunch money ;-)
