Independance Day 2013

When the opportunity presents itself to be on top of a tall building, directly opposite one of the greatest fireworks shows in the USA, on the 4th of July, you take it!
Shutter on B, check. Aperture set, check. Lens focussed, check. Tripod secured, double-check. I made over 100 time exposures during the 20 minute show, while also trying to take it all in. There was so much incandescent sulfur in the air, I didn't even bother trying multiple exposures; the sky was full of colored lights. Here are two samples.
