It had been seven months since A-san started offering Ohatsumizu (the first water) to Goshugojinsama in the morning in front of the divine amulet. A-san had a back tooth extracted during her dental treatment. The affected area was also treated by laser therapy. Because the dental laser was applied on the left side of her lips as well as the area covering 3 to 4 centimeters underneath it, which had been wet from the last time she rinsed her mouth, the moisture reacted to the lasers, causing redness and swelling. With an apologetic look on his face, the dentist said to A-san, “Please come back tomorrow and let me see how it turns out.” When A-san’s colleagues saw her after she returned to work, they made a fuss over the redness and swelling on her face, saying that it was a case of medical malpractice. However, A-san told her colleagues flatly, “I will be fine! I will just need to apply the divine water when I get home. I am totally sure that this will heal!!”
Back then, A-san had been feeling anxious all the time because she was unable to leave all her matters to Goshugojinsama. Strange enough, when she said this to her colleagues, she felt from the heart that she would totally be fine. After getting home A-san promptly offered her prayers and applied the divine water on her face while offering earnest prayers. About three hours went by and A-san realized that the pain was gone. When she checked herself in the mirror, the redness and blisters caused by the burns had clearerd. As much as she was delighted, she was utterly astonished by the divine power of Goshugojinsama. The following day, her colleagues asked her about the divine water after noticing that the severe burns on her face had completely healed. A-san then told them about Goshugojinsama. A-san practiced the divine teaching of not blaming another person and instead praying for the
happiness of that person. Also, with the great power of Goshugojinsama’s divine water, she was granted the divine benevolence and there were no scars left after the facial burns. Every time A-san looks at herself in the mirror, she is filled with gratitude. Thank you very much, Goshugojinsama and Nidaisama.
