A-san received the Divine Connection in June last year after being diagnosed with scirrhous stomach cancer with only 3 months to live. B-san, a Vice Section Organizer, then sought advice from a physical experience commentary guide at RHK as to how her frame of mind should be when providing support to A-san who was at a loss as to what to do. The commentary guide said to B-san, "We tend to ask for our illnesses to be cured; however, we should instead learn to have a frame of mind to thank Goshugojinsama for completing the divine ascetic practice for us." After receiving such advice through B-san, A-san read "The Path to God" - the picture book on the divine origin of Goshugojinsama, scene by scene before he applied the Divine Sake on his body each day. Then, a sense of gratitude for Goshugojinsama's ascetic practice naturally started to well up in his heart. He applied the Divine Sake with all his heart each day. Furthermore, having read through the first issue of RHK's monthly public
ation, he wanted to learn more about Reihanohikari, Goshugojinsama and Nidaisama. He read the monthly publication one issue a day. Scirrhous stomach cancer is known to make one's abdomen hard, and A-san's stomach had been as hard as a board on the first day of the Divine Sake Supplication. However, by the next day, the stomach had softened and the coughing had also subsided. Eventually, the level of his tumor marker was back to normal in November. Thank you very much, Goshugojinsama and Nidaisama.
