Red Mist Sunday Nights

Red Mist Cricket Limited Sunday night coaching continues this winter for the 30th year and has grown even bigger, after the success of last year. We will be offering 1 hour coaching net sessions at Langley Prep School at Taverham Hall from October, which will continue in January through to April. All players’ places are saved for the sessions after Christmas and will continue at the same times and groups.

 Groups begin at 5.00pm for the youngest players and finishes at 8.00pm for the older ones and adults. Each group attends for an hours net session, where the player has the chance to extend their skills, batting and bowling, in a hard ball net. Wicket keepers can also keep due to the extended area behind the stumps.

 Our highly qualified and experienced coaching staff on Sunday nights will be ready to help you reach your potential for the 2026 season.

Forms for 2026 winter will be handed out to pre Christmas players at the third session, to return at the next session for January to April.

2025 Sessions

Group A; October 12th and 26th, November 9th and 23th, December 7th

Group B; October 19th, November 2nd, 16th and 30th, December 14th

 Cost for each group is £97.50 for 5 sessions

Please note: 

• For safety reasons all players must wear full protective equipment when batting. This means helmet, box, pads and gloves. Any other protection is optional but recommended. A range of equipment is supplied for those that do not have their own, including helmets, to borrow on each night. Players should have their own equipment wherever possible.

• It is recommended that players have their own box/protector.

• Wicket keepers must wear full protective equipment including a helmet

• Players must wear clean, non-marking trainers.

• No bags are allowed in the sports hall

• Parents are not allowed in the sports hall but may watch from the balcony area.. Please continue to keep socially distanced.

• Only Red Mist coaches are allowed in the sports hall.

Winter Coaching Langley Prep School at Taverham Hall

Red Mist Cricket Limited Sunday night coaching continues this winter for our 30th year and its association with Langley Prep School at Taverham Hall since 2005. We will be offering 1 hour coaching net sessions from October which will continue in January through to April. All players’ places are saved for the sessions after Christmas and will continue at the same times and groups. Forms will be distributed in week 3 for each group and need to be returned at the next session.

Sessions start at 5.00pm, 6.00pm and 7.00pm. Youngest players come at the earliest times.

All players must wear clean indoor, non-marking footwear and should bring their own kit where they have it. Red Mist will provide equipment for those that have not got their own and all balls will be provided. Due to the popularity of Red Mist, only one group, A or B, will be available initially, to allow everyone a chance to attend. Please be aware that Red Mist may take photographs during the coaching sessions and use video for coaching purposes. Please be aware that there is traffic throughout the evening outside the sports hall and individuals are responsible for their own safety when entering and leaving.
