It has been great to see so many of our young Academy players have a superb 2025 season, both in club and County fixtures. Previous years successful sessions and numbers resulted in an increase in the groups and with this success we are continuing into the 2025 winter with three groups working this year. The younger players (up to 13 years old) will be on Wednesdays from 6.00-8.00pm and Tuesdays from 6.00pm till 8.00pm. The Senior group (14+) will be on Wednesdays from 8.00-10.00pm.
Red Mist Cricket Limited starts the winter period offering a whole new experience for young cricketers keen to make rapid progress in their development. The development of the players listed on the previous page has proved how successful these groups have been and how hard they have worked. We look forward to them seeing the success they deserve in the summer at all levels
The Academy gives players the chance to work on all aspects of their game over the winter period. This will include skills practice, nets, fitness, video analysis and game review covering the main areas of the game, but with an in-depth analysis for each player.
All players are invited to apply for a position on the Academy.
(A maximum number of players will be on each Academy. In the event of more applicants, another group will be set up where possible. These players will all be part of The Academy, but groups will train on a different night/time)
Players will receive;
Weekly group work including skills sessions, fitness assessment and fitness sessions
Individual video analysis
Tactical, mental, physical, technical and lifestyle management areas covered
Guest coach sessions
The 2025/6 year will be split into two 'terms'.
1. Autumn. 10 week period starting in October 2024
Group 1; Wednesdays 8.00-10.00pm on 15th, 22nd and 29th October, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November, 3rd, 10th and 17th December
Group 2; Tuesdays from 6.00-8.00pm on 14th, 21st and 28th October, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th November, 2nd, 9th and 16th December
Group 3; Wednesdays 6.00-8.00pm on 15th, 22nd and 29th October, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November, 3rd, 10th and 17th December
2. Spring. 10 week period starting in the New Year.
Group 1; Wednesdays 8.00-10.00pm on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January, 4th 11th 18th and 25th February, 4th and 11th March
Group 2; Tuesdays from 6.00-8.00pm on 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th January, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th February, 3rd and 10th March
Group 3; Wednesdays 6.00-8.00pm on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January, 4th 11th 18th and 25th February, 4th and 11th March
Payment for the RMCL Academy can be made in two ways
Full payment for the year 2025/6 as above - £750.00
Payment in two instalments, payable at the start of each 10 week 'term' - 1. £390.00, 2. £390.00
