P8Z68-V Pro

I didnt want my dead Gene-Z exchanged to a new Gene-Z. I am pretty sure it died from my overclocking. Based on spec sheets on Asus homepage, I found that the P8Z68-V Pro could be a better option.

Regarding power supplies

Gene-Z (8+4 Phases)

P8Z68-V (12+4 Phases)

More Phases means more Power, and in this case I just want a system that do not have issue and runs too hot when I push 100-120 amps out.

My first experience.

Everything looks conservative and is pretty easy to get up and running. Performance wise, used for benching it looked pretty slow, compared to what I have been seeing on MSI P67a-gd65 and ASUS Gene-Z. After a couple of days investigating the performance issue I found that it is related to c-state adjustment in bios. Disabling c-state raise performance by 3%. I will have to investigate a little more before I start serious benching on it.
