Testing memory on the 4770K platform, in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. In the tests I compare XMP settings between the different memory sticks, and I overclock them a bit. Everything is in the safe limit of voltage, and some of the setups are more or less tested to be stable in memtest. All settings are published in the google sheet.
Conclusions to make: Windows 8.1 is faster than Windows 7 in Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (hwbot) bench, and in wprime 2. Windows 7 still win when it comes to physics score in 3dmark11. Low latency stics rocks hard when compared to high memory bandwidth sticks with loose timings.
DIMM voltage: Voltage will be increased from 1.65v to about 1.8v, if it makes sence.
VCCSA: will be raised to about 1.2v for modules that require high voltages and Corsair modules.
VCCIO D: +0.12v is fine for most, other require +0.15v.
VCCIO A: +0.12v is fine for most, other require +0.15v.
