Head Coach Colin Shaw
For this year’s Power Club volleyball team, my goal is to bring the same passion, energy, and professionalism. I design innovative training methods specifically for volleyball athletes — delivering enthusiastic, motivating, and high-energy workouts that focus on skill development, team bonding, healthy lifestyles, and the habits needed to become elite performers. My mission is to help every athlete unlock their potential and gain the confidence to chase their goals boldly.
Before coaching, I was an elite-level hockey player, an experience that shaped who I am today. I was fortunate to earn multiple individual awards and win City, Provincial, and National Championships, ultimately being inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame. These experiences inspire me to teach young athletes what is possible through positivity, hard work, commitment, and dedication.
My coaching philosophy is simple: with the right attitude and effort, anything is possible — and I’m here to help athletes discover that within themselves.
