Firmware Loader

Pulse Pal's MATLAB software includes a MATLAB tool to upgrade (or downgrade) the firmware on the device.

Setup:

1. In MATLAB, go to Home > Set Path

2. In the path editor, add  the FirmwareLoader folder to the path. This should be: /PulsePal/MATLAB/FirmwareLoader/

3. At the command prompt, run:   LoadPulsePalFirmware;

Usage:

You should see a GUI like this:

1.  From the 'Firmware' list select your hardware version - HW2 for Pulse Pal 2, or HW3 for Pulse Pal 3

2. From the 'Version' list select the firmware version you want to load. The latest version will be automatically selected when the GUI opens.

3. From the 'Port' list select the USB serial port of the target device.

4. Click 'Load'.
