This year's Annual Dinner will honor Dr. Christopher Metzger as our Alumnus of the Year.

Dr. Metzger received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital. He is board certfied by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American College of Surgeons. Since 1989 Dr. Metzger has served as the team physician for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons and now the Railriders.

He was also the team physician for Abington Heights Sports Medicine program and Marywood University.

Dr. Metzger has published several medical articles and is also a guest lecturer at both the University of Scranton and Marywood University.

He is on the staff at Moses Taylor, Community Medical Center and Northeast Surgery Center.
