Coach O’Brien returns to Northeast PA after last year’s dinner which drew nearly 1000 guests. He will be the featured speaker and will be accompanied by other University guests TBA. Coach O’Brien is expected to draw an overflow crowd once again this year as he will share his vision about the future of the storied Penn State football program in the post-Paterno era.
In addition to Coach O’Brien’s appearance and the Alum of the Year presentation, the Chapter will award several scholarships to area Penn State students and present the Men’s and Women’s Student Athlete of the Year Awards to two Scranton campus standouts.
