I'm Dr. Danica Moise, Ph.D., BCBA, and I'm so glad you're here. As a postdoctoral researcher, I sit at an interesting intersection, close enough to the graduate experience to remember it, and far enough along to see what really matters on the other side. This summer, I'll be sharing weekly resources to help you grow beyond the coursework and step more fully into your identity as a scholar and practitioner. Think of this as the reading list no one assigned you, but probably should have.
Whether you are a special education or speech-language master's student, the work you are training to do is deeply relational and deeply collaborative. The students and families you will serve deserve professionals who not only know their own discipline well but also know how to work across disciplines. These posts are designed with that in mind: practical, grounded in current practice, and always aimed at making you a stronger partner in the room. My hope is that by the end of the summer, you walk away with more than new knowledge and you walk away with a broader sense of what is possible when educators and clinicians lead together.
