प्रकाशनयोग्यतायाः मानदण्डाः निम्नवत् निर्धारिताः सन्ति-

1. शोधलेखः संस्कृतवाङ्मयस्य केनाप्येकेनाङ्गेन सह सम्बद्धः स्यात्। यथा- वेदः, वेदाङ्गानि, उपनिषद्, दर्शनानि, पुराणानि, स्मृतिः, योगः, आगमः, साहित्यं, कव्यशास्त्रं, व्याकरणं, तन्त्रं, ज्योतिषं तथा संगणकीयभाषाविज्ञान-पर्यावरणाद्याधुनिकविषयाः।

2. शोधलेखः स्वीयः मौलिकश्च स्यात्।

3. शोधलेखे विवेचनप्रक्रिया समस्याचयनत → आरभ्य क्रमेण प्राक्कल्पना → ततः समालोचनात्मकं मूल्याङ्कनं → तथा अन्ते शोधस्य मौलिकनिष्कर्षेण सहोपसंहारः इत्येवं क्रमवद्धतापुरःसरं विकसिता स्यात्।

4. शोधलेखे काचिन्नवीना अवधारणा, किमपि नवीनं तथ्यं, नवीनं मूल्याङ्कनं, नवीनः सिद्धान्तः, नवीना शैली, नवीनः संकेतो वा अवश्यमाविष्कृतः स्यात्।

5. शोधलेखस्य भाषा परिष्कृता, प्राञ्जला, स्तरानुगुणा च स्यात्।

6. शोधलेखे समसामयिकी सम्बद्धता, तार्किकम् अनुशीलनं, तथा सन्दर्भाणामौचित्यमवश्यं स्युः।

7. शोधलेखे अन्यस्य प्रकाशनस्यांशोद्धरणे तदनुमतिः अवश्यं स्वीकर्तव्या, यदि तादृशमुद्धरणं ५०० शब्देभ्योऽधिकमस्ति।

8. प्रकाशनात्परं शोधलेखस्य सर्वाधिकारः “प्राची प्रज्ञा” इत्यस्याः एव सुरक्षितः भविष्यति।

9. प्रकाशनसम्बन्धे पत्राचाराय शोधलेखेन सह प्रयुक्तान्तर्जालसंकेतः (Email ID) एव उपयोक्तव्यः।

10. सर्वाऽपि प्रक्रिया अन्तर्जालमाध्यमेनैव सम्पादयिष्यते। मुद्रितरूपेण न काचित् प्रक्रिया अवलम्ब्यते।

1. Format of the Research Paper:

§ All the fonts of Devanagari / Roman and Roman with diacritical marks, must be Unicode compatible. For Devanagari, Arial Unicode MS and for Roman, Times New Roman is preferable. The size of fonts should be 12 in case of English and 14 in case of Sanskrit / Hindi.

§ Format of file must be Microsoft Word only. File Formats in Adobe Page Maker / pdf / Corel Draw / Adobe Indesign etc. are not acceptable.

§ Page size must be of A4 typed on 1.15 line spacing and justified aligned and 1" margined format.

§ Footnotes / References should be embedded in the text in a consistent style and order, as per American Psychological Association, 7th Edition (APA7) style:

§ Arrangement of the pages of the paper should be made in the following format / order:

2. The Title page setup should be made in the following format / order:

§ Paper title – Must be with English counterpart

§ Author name in both English and Devanagari fonts

§ Author’s affiliation

§ A passport size photograph in JPEG format only of 3.5 x 4.5 cm, up to 20 kb, must be attached along with the Research Paper.

§ Each Research paper should be accompanied with a scanned copy of the filled in declaration form available in our site.

All the research papers undergo a review process. The papers (without the name of the contributor) are sent to the reviewers having expertise on the field, and considered for publication only on the recommendations of the reviewers on following parameters:

1.    The Research Paper must have a link to any branch of Sanskrit Studies, i.e. Vedas, Vedāṅgas, Upaniṣads, Philosophies, Purāṇas, Smṛtis, Literature, Poetics, Grammar, Tantras, Astrology, Astronomy and Modern subjects like Computational Linguistics, Environmental Science and allied fields.

2.    The Research Paper must be an original contribution of the author.

3. The discussion should develop in the order from Statement of Problem to→ assumption or hypotheses to → critical evaluations → to a conclusion with the findings of research.

4. The Research Paper must present a discovery / invention of a new - idea / thought /design / plan / awareness / inkling/ indication / appreciation / conception / understanding / opinion / view/ concept / notion / theory / principle or even a new style of interpretation.

5. The language must be lucid and must meet the standard of presentation.

6. The Research Paper must have contemporary relevance, contributions to knowledge, clarity and logic in analysis, methodology and appropriateness of references.

7. f the author has quoted more than 500 words / a table / a figure from a published work, in the article, a copy of permission obtained from the respective copyright holder needs to be enclosed.

8. The copyright is transferred to the Journal if article is accepted for publication in “प्राची प्रज्ञा”/ Prachi Prajna, ISSN 2348 – 8417.

9. All the correspondence should be made through the same email ID only by which the paper has been submitted.

10. All the process will be made online only and no printing media will be undertaken.

11. The selection of the Research paper is entirely entrusted to “प्राची प्रज्ञा”.

If the paper meets the preliminary requirements, the article will be processed for review, which could take up to 3 months. The accepted articles are scheduled for publication in the alphabetical order.
