SUMMER RUNNING
In order to prevent injuries, soreness, and general fatigue at the beginning of the season, it is best that each athlete can run at least one mile or 10-15 minutes of continuous running. It is not expected to go out and run 8 miles every day over the summer, but it is encouraged that runners get out and begin to prepare for the season over the summer months
SUMMER RUNNING SUGGESTIONS
Gate City Striders Summer Running Series - Held on the trails in Mines Falls Park in Nashua every Monday night throughout the summer. They are very low key and fun! Here is the link for more information: Mine Falls Trail Series
Summer 5K's
Cigna 5K is being held in Manchester on August 9th. It is the largest 5K held in New England and is a great time! It is a Boston Marathon qualifier and can see many elite runners race. It is a race for all ages and abilities.
