OLD PMA XC COURSE
The start and finish of the PMA XC Course were changed in the Fall of 2022. The start was changed from the turf field to the far western extent of the long grass field that lies adjacent to the driveway into the circle in front of the main building at Presentation of Mary Academy. This change was done to allow a larger starting line to be utilized and eliminated the tight and numerous turns at the start of the race. The finish was also removed from the turf field and moved to the grassy field near the retention pond located next to Anne Marie House. This change was done to alleviate the 180 degree turn onto the turf field and multiple turns close to the finish. Both the new start and finish connect into the old course, which runs the same route through the woods portion of the race course. Due to the difference in race course characteristics, times and records for the old course can not be compared to times on the new course. Therefore the records for the old course will be preserved and a new set of records established starting with races run on the new course in the Fall of 2022.
