HEXTA LOG TO GROUPZ

Hex2GroupZ.exe

The following program ( Hex2GroupZ.exe ) will tease out the individual shoots from a Hexta Log (txt) file and translate these to shoot files readable by my program MultiGroupZ. This enables far more detailed analysis of the shoots than the Hexta Site displays and is invaluable to those who are using Hexta Targets for load development, team practice, and other applications differing from traditional shooting matches. You will need to Download MultiGroupZ as well and learn to use it which may be a challenge but used at a basic level is not too difficult. Appreciating all of the possibilities offered by MultiGroupZ will take a major effort.

Additionally, it will do a total shotcount for each target.

The program will only work for a limited number of targets and the algorithm it uses is fragile. While it works with our ( Herberton) targets, this may not be true if you have Hexta eTargets using a different version of their software. At the moment, it is working reliably on standard Hexta Log files.

Download by clicking on the arrow at bottom right. Unzip. The program does not need to be installed.

I would suggest placing it in a DIR called C:\HEX-GROUPZ\PROGRAM. Double click on the file Hex2GroupZ.exe to run it

KIT INCLUDING Hex2GroupZ.exe and MultiGroupZ.exe

Downloads a Zipped Directory (HEX-GROUPZ) with both these files including a sample Hexta Log file and other data in a suggested Directory Structure. Download by clicking on the arrow at bottom right. Unzip. Suggest that you Place this Dir in drive C:. You can then experiment and use Hex2GroupZ to create all the GroupZ files which can then be read into MultiGroupZ.

These programs contain much explanatory help notes.

=================================================================

HEX-GROUPZ downloads a Zipped Directory Structure which includes the program Hex2GroupZ.exe and an example Hexta Log file for you to experiment on to produce GroupZ files of each of the included shoots.

Also included is a copy of MultiGroupZ.exe and ICFRA targets which you will need to view the GroupZ files.

Download (arrow at bottom right), Unzip, place DIR in C: drive. If you are using Hexta Targets, and your Log file is of the same structure, create an appropriate Dir for each Log file and transfer the log.txt from your Hexta Server computer.

The final result is a very comprehensive shoot analyzing and viewing interface.

If you only want the latest Hex2GroupZ.exe file, download the second file and unzip.
