How good must an eTarget be ?
This is a zipped folder (below) containing the program and what I think is a reasonable profile for various shoots.
Hope the program runs OK on newer Windows but expect it will.
Suggest you start program then
1/ Load in a shoot file.
2/ Click on 'Tournament' button on left.
3/ Sort out windows. Expanding some onto a second or larger screen is worthwhile.
It can be interesting looking at the target plot larger and zoomed up watching errors.
4/ Click on Tournament Graph Space a few more times watching what happens.
5/ Do a run. The Canada file sets a run of 100 tournaments.
If you are happy with it maybe change to 1000 runs for more consistent results but takes a lot longer.
I dont think it is worth more than 1000 runs but you are welcome to try - and wait !!!
6/ Change the Target X and Y SDs. Watch the range of scores and adjust to give a representative range.
7/ Try the gross errors maybe.
There are a few bugs in the program but I don't think the results are compromised.
It is written on top of two other older programs and is a mess.
I will try to eliminate some of them but in the meantime you can still use the program and appreciate the interface.
Some examples are included. Note that in the CampPerry TR shoot, you need to change the target type to the TR one.
