This morning we met for one last rehearsal before the final performances tomorrow. I was significantly later than I'd intended to be because I hadn't planned on it being pouring raining or on my meeting before that taking nearly as long as it did, but when I got there Kelly and Sara had already rounded up our furniture and done some vocal warm ups and were ready to start. They ran through the scene and it was brilliant! They finally got the middle and still managed to take the end up that next level it needed. I'm very pleased, especially knowing where we were before, but the real test will be tomorrow when we have an audience. Will they be able to hold everyone's attention? I hope so. Hopefully knowing they have an audience will be that final push and they can take it even farther. I had them run-through a second time, since we were all already there, in hopes of solidifying the new version of the scene. Now all I can do is wait and see.
