The water system at Pine Ridge Subdivision was constructed as the subdivision was developed, approximately in the late 1970s. Both were development projects of Jack Hale.
As of the spring of 2022, 30 lots are occupied residences of seasonal and full-time members and are connected to the water system.
Since 2001, the water system has been owned and operated by a registered society made up of property owners from the subdivision. An elected, volunteer board of directors manages the system on behalf of all members. Various members with the skills and interests volunteer to maintain the system.
These pages are intended to provide reference material useful in running and maintaining the system. Use the menu to the left to find what you are looking for. Additional knowledge and information is gratefully accepted.
In conjunction to the distribution system that moves the water around, there are three main parts of the system:
Lake Intake - electronics and pipe connecting to 2 submersible pumps.
Treatment Building - containing filters and chlorination equipment
Reservoir and Pump House - water storage and a pressurizing system for the west side of the subdivision.
Details of each part of the system follow.
