Issued beginning in 2000, the Sacajawea dollar coin used the
same design for obverse and reverse until 2008. The reverse
design began changing yearly with the 2009 issue. Below is
the original design and then listed are new yearly designs.
P and D indicate the mint that struck the coins. P being for
Philadelphia, the original mint and D for a branch mint
located in Denver. The coins date, mint mark and motto,
E Pluribus Unum are incuse around the edge of the coins.
Beginning in 2012, these coins can only be obtained directly
from the mint, on their website in bags, boxes or rolls. They
are also sold in special collector sets like proof and
uncirculated sets and several have been issued in enhanced
strikes in currency sets.
The coins I am selling come from mint wrapped rolls I
ordered to complete my collection. I only need one but as part
of my get rich, extremely slowly scheme, I offer them in singles
or a pair of P and D, of years I have extras. the menus drop
down for the different dates and mint marks and paired deal.
