Kingdom of Lesotho — Africa
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers
1986 Fall Omnibus
Public website by Returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV's) who started service for Lesotho in November, 1986. The Kingdom of Lesotho is a landlocked country completely surrounded by the Republic of South Africa. South Africa was Apartheid at the time. Lesotho is a Monarchy. Sesotho is the language of Lesotho. Lesotho gained independence from Great Britain in 1966; and, English is spoken among some of the educated Basotho. Generally, we worked in the areas of education and agriculture in many different parts of Lesotho.
Through this website we hope to pull some of our members together, hoping those out of touch will recontact the group.
We also hope to reach out to other similar groups and link together and share ideas and information.

This site has been altered for the worse by Google.
It no longer looks very good.
Also, it has lost a lot of functionality.
We will try to improve this over time.
